In this project file applique blocks are framed with 3 rows of logs.
The small applique blocks could be replaced with embroidered blocks.
I would like the two designs above a lot more with more variety in the applique, but love the frame around each applique in the one directly above.
Small friendship blocks could be made into a large quilt if they are framed with three or four logs.
